Handle all service requests related to AD, DNS, DHCP, SharePoint, Gmail administration and file service according
to the Information Technology (IT) Department SLA
Perform extensive troubleshooting on the above mentioned services as well as providing clear and descriptive resolution for the users
Handle system generated systems management alerts that may include: replication errors, DNS resolution, and service interruptions
Provide infrastructure support for peers’ applications such as student information systems
Document all actions taken or needed in incidents and service requests
Create or update documents in the internal know error database to ensure proper knowledge transfer across team members
Send swift and proper communication in case of critical incidents to ensure all involved and affected parties are informed
Continuously participate in identifying technical improvements to decrease any administrative overhead
Continuously participate in improving the internal processes to increase the overall efficiency and decrease the response and resolution times
Work closely with the first line to ensure the agreed on processes are followed and discuss key areas of improvement through tailoring reports and providing easy to use work instructions
Participate actively in planning and executing platform/application installation, design, and upgrade
Participate in the integration/consolidation projects
Prepare reports, such as effort analysis, quality analysis, and utilization, on regular basis to ensure the best analysis for workloads according to service and engineer are performed; as well as track the teams’ position from the KPIs, service availability, SLAs compliance, and statistical analysis
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience in Microsoft infrastructure technologies administration (AD, DNS, DHCP, File server, Sharepoint, Systems Management; mainly SCCM & SCOM)
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows OS administration tasks (Win 2008/2012/2012R2). Hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows Client OS (Win XP, 7,8 ,8.1)
Extensive experience with Microsoft Active Directory, LDAP, DHCP, DNS, and CA. Working knowledge of server hardware (RAID, clustering, virtualization, etc.)
Basic Knowledge of Microsoft monitoring solution SCOM
Extensive experience with Microsoft SharePoint 2013
Extensive experience with Microsoft System Center Family (SCCM)
Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
Strong troubleshooting skills on the above products. MCSE Server Infrastructure, MCSA Windows Server, MCSA Office 365, MCSE SharePoint, and MCTS SCCM is a plus. ITIL foundation background is a plus
